Stephen Mills shut out Danny Yurick 3-0, and Lori Muir beat Glenn Rudman by the same score as third-place Pizza Hut beat EBA.
EBA sub Shahid Syed shut out Stephen Buckler 3-0, and his brother Mustafa Syed bested Eric Bardin 3-1 to gain another match for EBA in another battle of substitutes.

In Div. 2 action last night, Yukon Brewing Co. kept their hold on first with an 18-10 win over Electrical Shop.
Brian Healy beat David Buckler 3-1, Cathy MacDonald shut out Katherine Krabel 3-0, and Megan Klassen outlasted sub Muhammed Idrees 3-2 for Yukon Brewing's wins. Matt Johnson lost his match to sub Amy Ryder by default.
Yukon Brewing now has 247 points, 13 up on second-place Solstice Landscaping.

Sub Lara-Rae Grant beat Adam Humphrey 3-1, Rebecca World shut out Rose Mallet 3-0 by default, Andre Benoit edged Mya Kondor 3-2 and Paul Shrubshall downed Micah Smith 3-0 in a clean sweep for Solstice Landscaping.

Local squash coach Khoon Chua explained the scoring system as follows: points are allocated for games won, and single bonus points are given out for players who win, wear sponsor shirts and referee subsequent games.
