A high-powered offence and the goaltending of Stacey Bowden proved to be a dominant combination in the women's final.

The Babes on Blades shut out Haines Junction 7-0 in the first of Sunday's championship games to claim their own $500 prize.

Amy鈥圴ermeulen and Vanessa Bogaert each scored twice in the win, with Rachael Cooper, Hannah Woodwalker and Stephanie Hedley each adding singles.

The Babes on Blades were able to quiet Haines Junction's vocal fan base with the victory.

The four-team Women's Division, which also included the Dawson Ice Queens, was sponsored by Evergreen Homes and Construction.
