Whitehorse Minor Soccer's Under-9 season got underway Monday at the Canada Games Centre.

Northern Lights Optometry Ltd 8, Energy North Ltd 5

Ty Beacon scored five goals and Curtis Cash had the other three as Northern Lights Optometry Ltd beat Energy North Ltd 8-5.

Nathan Scully responded for Energy North with a hat trick of his own, while Kane

Morgan and Connor Cozens also scored.

Sale Salvage 4, Acme Labs 4

Sale Salvage saw a four-goal cushion evaporate versus Acme Labs.

Up 4-0 on goals by Sawyer Adams (2), Bryan Fleming, and William Huelischuele, the young club could only watch as Acme Labs came storming back on goals by Kamryn Williamson (2), Zachary Willoughby and Daniel Wilberforce.

Conservation Data Centre 8, The Deli 4

Seth Bennett's hat trick led the way for the Conservation Data Centre squad, while

Sara Charlton (2), Dylan Currie (2) and Lance Walsh also dented the twine.

Simon Hassard scored all four goals for The Deli.
