Better Bookkeeping looks to be in good shape as the city's Division 2 squash league enters the regular season's homestretch.

The team entered round three of the season just three points up on Aurora Geosciences, but took Yukon鈥圔rewing Company to school last Thursday, defeating them 19-9 to finish the week 14 points up on The Electrical Shop for first

place.

The playoffs will begin following the third round.

On Thursday, Better Bookkeeping's Micah Smith shut out Grant Woo 3-0, while Cathy MacDonald scored a default 3-0 win over Tony Radford.

Aaron Nicholson beat Emily Sheff 3-2, while Zachary Kuehner took the lone loss for the league leaders, 3-0 to the hands of Keegan Kwok.

In other Div. 2 action, North Star Storage beat Aurora Geosciences 17-6 and The Electrical Shop downed High Country Inn 19-6.

In Div. 1 action last Tuesday, league-leading Yukon Tree Services beat Solstice Landscaping 16-15, thanks to a 3-2 win by Jane Bell over Kevin Daffe and Jim Gilpin's 3-0 win over Gabriel Stetkiewicz.

Solstice's Mustafa Syed beat Grayson Peters 3-0, and Kealan Campbell topped Ben Gelinas 3-2, but it wouldn't be enough.

Yukon Tree Services leads the Div. 1 standings by 10 points over EBA Engineering.

EBA kept pace with their rivals last Tuesday with an 18-15 win over TSL鈥圕ontractors Ltd., while Outside the Cube edged Assante 16-15.

Play will continue this week at Better Bodies Whitehorse.
