Charles Brodhagen scored both goals for the Firth Rangers last night, grabbing a hold of the outright points lead in the Whitehorse Oldtimer Hockey League.
Despite his club's 6-2 loss to the AON Flames, Brodhagen's 10 goals and six assists now put him squarely atop the league in points with 16, two up on teammate Brent Stokes and four up on Adam Green, Stu Mackay and Jared Barrault.
Terry Berquist and Dave Ecker each scored twice to lead the Flames to their fourth win of the season last night, while Paul Lackowicz picked up three assists.
Mike Rispin and Briar Young rounded out the scoring for the second-place Flames.
In other action last night, EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc. skated past Yukon Inn in a 5-1 win at Takhini Arena.
Pat Tobler scored twice for EDI, a first-year club who has quickly risen to the top of the standings with a record of 6-1 to start the season.
Lyle Dinn had a goal and two assists, while Barrault and Sean McLeod rounded out the scoring.
Andrew Smith was the only one able to put the puck past goaltender Brendan Kelly for Yukon Inn, the league's reigning champs for two years running.
With the loss, Yukon Inn's record drops to 4-2, good for third in the early standings.
