Nearly 30 teams took part in the Bob Park Icebreaker Opening Broomball Tournament Nov. 3 - 5 at the Takhini Arena.
BROOMBALL OPENER 鈥� Eight teams played nearly 30 games in the Bob Park Icebreaker Opening Broomball Tournament Nov. 3 - 5 at the Takhini Arena. At the end of Saturday night, team NNDDC Nacho was victorious. 鈥淓verything went really smooth,鈥� said Yukon Broomball Association president Kirk Gilbert. The formate changed from a double elimination to a round-robin. 鈥淵ou got to play everybody, which is kind of nice.鈥� The Yukon Broomball Association is aiming to be on the ice at the end of November for the start of the regular season, weather permitting.
