Longtime running coach Don White will begin hosting a brand-new series of clinics tonight, aimed at helping fast male runners get faster.
Longtime running coach Don White will begin hosting a brand-new series of clinics tonight, aimed at helping fast male runners get faster.
The first of six sessions will take place at Shipyards Park tonight at 7:30, followed by a second session at Shipyards Saturday at 11 a.m.
"Most men run on genetic makeup, experience and often false assumptions,鈥濃圵hite said.
White will examine each athlete's specific running style with the use of video in order to reveal ways to improve, discuss basic techniques and running strategies for varying terrain, as well as advise which pre- or post-race training works best in terms of diet, hydration and planning.
Fees will be charged per session at a rate of $5 for Athletics Yukon members and $15 for non-members. Runners can sign up on site.
