Whitehorse forward Kole Comin scored his second goal of the season Sunday in Prince George, but it wouldn't be enough as the Cariboo Cougars lost 10-2 to the Greater Vancouver Canadians.

The B.C. Major Midget League's Cougars allowed some early goals and weren't able to recover as their record fell to 9-13-2 on the season.

Comin's goal came on a long shot during a third-period powerplay. Despite the loss, the Cougars outshot the Canadians 32-30.

The North's top midget hockey team, which also includes Whitehorse forward Riley Pettitt (5G, 2A), will play in Fraser Valley this weekend before heading to Calgary for the Mac's Midget AAA tournament.

The annual event features 25 male, and 15 female teams from across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
