This past weekend, the young athlete was three for three for podium performances at Washington鈥檚 Rapha NW Junior Stage Race.
The race, which features time trial, criterium and road race stages, attracts some of the northwest鈥檚 top junior cyclists.
In the girls 10-12 category, Irving-Staley picked up a silver in the time trial, a bronze in the criterium and a gold in the road race. She finished second overall in the general classification, which is an average of the three stages.
Irving-Staley posted a gutsy performance in the road relay, winning by about one second.
Irving-Staley was joined in Elma, Washington by three of her U Kon Echelon teammates.
Johna Irving-Staley (boys 10-12) raced to 16th in the time trial, 15th in the criterium and 17th in the road race.
Mollie Fraser (girls 13-14) was 11th in Stage 1 and 9th in both Stage 2 and 3.
Annie Cable, who raced in the same category as Ava, finished 7th in all three stages.
