Urban Painting cyclist Elijah Buffalo blew away the competition last week, handily winning the Yukon's second time trial of the season.

The route saw cyclists travel from Takhini Gas towards Lake Laberge for 10 km and return for a total of 22.5 km. The event was hosted by the U Kon Echelon club.
While the course saw wind play a factor both ways, some quick times were still posted, led by Buffalo's 31 minutes, 36 seconds.
Urban Painting is on a roll as Buffalo won a recent time trial Outside and team founder Preston Blackie recently won a criterium in B.C., said U Kon Echelon president Trena Irving.
Finishing behind Buffalo in the expert male category were Sean McCarron (35.18) and Mathieu Chenard (35.39).
Shea Hoffman also posted a sub-40 time to win the U-23 division in 37.04, while his dad, Phil Hoffman, won the sport men's division with a time of 40.55.
Irving was once again the top female cyclist, finishing in a time of 41.52, followed by Tanya Ordish (43.42).
A total of 10 cyclists took part in the time trial event.
This weekend, the club will send riders to compete at the B.C. junior provincial championships in Courtney, while a four-day Tour de Whitehorse event will take place next week.
The tour will see events held at the Mayo cutoff, Carcross cutoff, and Titanium Way in Whitehorse before the finale Saturday, which will see a road race happen along the Alaska Highway.
A barbecue and awards ceremony are scheduled to be held afterwards at Robert Service Campground.
