In a clash between Div. 1 squash's top two teams, EBA emerged victorious over Yukon Tree Services Tuesday night.

With their 17-11 win at Better Bodies' squash courts, EBA also snatched top spot in the league standings away from their rivals. The two clubs are now separated by just a single point, 160 to 159.

EBA's Shahid Syed and Phil Jackson each won their matches 3-0 over substitute players Gabriel Stetkiewicz and Kevin Daffe, respectively.

While Yukon Tree Services took the other two matches – Grayson Peters beat Mark Tubman 3-1 and Ben Gelinas edged Glenn Rudman 3-2 – it wouldn't be enough to win the team matchup.

In other Div. 1 action, third-place TSL Contractors Ltd. and fourth-place Outside The Cube tied 14-14, while Dynamic Systems crushed last-place Assante 20-7.

In Div. 2 action Thursday, Better Bookkeeping beat Sterling Insurance 22-9 to draw even with North Star Storage for first place in the standings with 132 points.

Better Bookkeeping's Aaron Nicholson and Micah Smith each won their matchups 3-0, while Zachary Kuehner downed Will Chetcuti 3-1 to earn the victory.

North Star Storage dropped their matchup to High Country Inn 17-11, while Electrical Shop beat Yukon Brewing Company 17-13.
