More fresh snow is great news for cross country skiers.
Copper, Dog, Selwyn's Loop, the World Cup 5 km and the Stadium were groomed by the PistenBully Thursday morning after the snow ended and are excellent for classic and skating.
With these mild temperatures, a nighttime ski is a great idea. Trail lights are on until 9:30 p.m. on weeknights.
A safety reminder for all skiers skiing one-way trails to be sure to follow the direction recommended on trails such as Pierre Harvey.
For skiers with dogs, owners are reminded that dogs must be under control at all times on the trails.
Day passes or ski club memberships are required to use the Whitehorse Nordic Centre trails and are available at the Ski Base.
Notice for all trail users: please wear season/day passes.
Trail maps are available at the Ski Chalet entrance, Visitor Centre, Icycle Sport and Coast Mountain Sports.
