Jessica Frotten, who burst onto the Paralympic track scene last year with two bronze medal performances at the Toronto Para Pan American Games, failed to make the team.
The ladies team is highlighted by Michelle Stilwell, in the T52 category and Diane Roy in the T54 category.
In Frotten鈥檚 category, T53, compromised core, Ilana Dupont will race the three events on the Paralympic program, 100, 400 and 800 metres.
Frotten has had a busy summer, travelling to meets across North America and Europe.
She had attained her A-standard time in the 100-metre, her specialty, but only B-standard times in the 400 and 800.
The Paralympic Games run in Rio Sept. 7 to 18, with the athletics competition starting on Sept. 8.
