WINS AGAIN 鈥 Etienne Geoffroy won the amateur division at the Showdown Throwdown Hoedown at Silver Star last weekend.
Yukon freestyle skier Etienne Geoffroy once again found himself on the top step of the podium at last weekend's Showdown Throwdown Hoedown.

The event, hosted at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, B.C., was held March 28 to 30.
Geoffroy, 16, finished first overall in the amateur division.
The Allen brothers, Kyran and Aidan, were also shooting for podium placings, but fell on their final runs Sunday.
Josh Harlow competed in the pro category and finished seventh overall.
Geoffroy's latest victory comes on the heels of wins in the Yukon Freestyle Ski Championships, the Timber Tour, and the Canadian Junior Freestyle Championships.
The ninth annual Showdown Throwdown Hoedown was a sanctioned event.
Prior to the Hoedown, a trio of Yukon freestyle skiers competed at the Freestyle Ski Nationals in Calgary.
Geoffroy finished 11th overall in the slopestyle competition, while Harlow fell on both of his runs and finished 27th.
Conditions at the Canada Olympic Park were "less than ideal,鈥 said Yukon Freestyle Ski Association president Lynda Harlow, and 15 athletes were sent to hospital during competition.
Dylan Reed was one of the athletes injured. He hurt his ankle and was forced to withdraw from the event.
The freestyle ski season will be wrapping up in the next couple of weeks at Mount Sima.
The Whitehorse ski hill will host the season-ending Simapalooza next weekend, highlighted by the Yukon Snowboarding Championships.
Tomorrow, Sima will host the Spring Fling Hill Top Party, featuring refreshment sales at the top of the mountain.
On April 26, the ski hill will be home to the biggest snowmobile event in the Yukon capital 鈥 the Hill Climb.
