More than 40 players were out at the Solstice Disc Golf Park to celebrate the park鈥檚 grand opening with the fourth annual Whitehorse Fall Classic.
More than 40 players were out at the Solstice Disc Golf Park to celebrate the park鈥檚 grand opening with the fourth annual Whitehorse Fall Classic.
Sean Kilpatrick was the winner of the event, scoring 74 in the advanced division.
With a $20 entrance fee for the advanced men, $220 in cash prizes was available to the top four men. All other divisions were free to play.
鈥淚鈥檓 very happy to see this phase of the project complete and the course filling up with people,鈥 said Whitehorse Disc Golf Association president Ryan Norquay.
Jesse Devost scored a 75 to narrowly miss the win, while Alan Hill was third with a 78.
Ben Craigen took the intermediate men category with a 30. There was a three-way tie for second with Dave Griffiths, Nick Clark and Matt Olsen scoring 32. Charlotte Van Randen scored a 33 to win the intermediate women鈥檚 division over Andrea Noronborg (42) and Kathleeen Lee (53).
