Adam Green added another two goals and an assist to his league-leading eight points, and goaltender Rob Clarke did the rest as EDI shut out the Firth Rangers 5-0 in oldtimer hockey action last night.

Pat Campbell, Phil Roszell and Pat Tobler also scored in the win, as EDI improves to 2-1 on the season.

The game was one of four held yesterday at Takhini Arena. Last year's champions Yukon Inn had a bye.

AON Flames 8, Air North 5

Ken Vickerman, Mike Rispin and Bob Allison each scored twice, and Stu Mackay had four assists as AON grounded Air North.

Briar Young and Lawrence Ignace added singles in the win.

Greg Charlie had two goals to pace the Jets, while Bruce Milligan, Gary Rusnak and Kerry Pettitt added singles, and Dave White picked up two assists.

With the loss, Air North drops to 0-2 on the season.

Kilrich 4, Medicine Chest 2

Doug Harris, Alain Pelletier, Phil Borgel and Darryl Berube scored to lead Kilrich to their second win of the season.

Sean Kinsella had a pair for Medicine Chest in the loss.

Tim Hortons 5, Klondyke Dental Molars 1

Rick Smith sniped a pair, while Peter Grundmanis, Walt Liley and Brian Eyolfson had singles as Tim Hortons dropped Klondyke Dental.

Jeff Jensen scored the lone goal for the Molars, who dropped to 0-3 early in the new season.

There were also two games held last Thursday night at Takhini Arena.

Tim Hortons 4, AON Flames 3

Rick Gingell's second goal stood up as the winner as Tim Hortons doused the Flames.

Carl Burgess and Walt Liley also scored in the win.

Goals from Lawrence Ignace, Terry Berquist and Bob Allison kept the Flames in the game until the end.

Kilrich 4, Klondyke Dental Molars

Alain Pelletier scored twice and added an assist to lead Kilrich over Klondyke Dental.

Colin Nash and Gary Vantell added singles in the win, while Darius Elias and Mike Blower responded for Klondyke Dental in the loss.
