Hindson nets eight goals in Whitehorse Auto Spa win: soccer roundup

Striker Ryan Hindson scored eight times to lead the Whitehorse Auto Spa to a 10-3 blowout win over The Deli in Under-13 soccer action Monday.

Striker Ryan Hindson scored eight times to lead the Whitehorse Auto Spa to a 10-3 blowout win over The Deli in Under-13 soccer action Monday.

Garan L'Henaff and Carl Knickle added singles, while Hanna Korn took MVP honours.

Luke Bakica, Skylar Bryant and Daniel Kim scored in the loss.

Lanix Property 5, Whitehorse Star 4

Despite three goals from MVP Felix Maltais and a strike from Tyler McDougall, the Whitehorse Star dropped a tightly-played decision to Lanix.

Ali Salasse's pair of goals led a balanced Lanix attack, while Manny Sharma, Austin Hayduck and Angus Endress also found the back of the net.

Murraya Dental 10, Yukon Pump Ltd. 2

Marek Boulerice scored six times and Cody Amaral had four as Murraya Dental cruised to a 10-2 win to remain the only undefeated team this season. Lara Herry Saint Onge was MVP.

Sierra Link scored both Yukon Pump goals, while Marek Henderson Pekarik was MVP.

In Under-11 action Tuesday:

Loomis Express 4, Pelly Construction 2

Joseph Hanson provided all of the offence for Loomis Express, and Dana Sellars was MVP. Jake Charleton and Xavier Houle replied for Pelly Construction, while

Shae Han Garrett-Charlie was MVP.

Intersport 9, Boston Pizza 5

Four goals by Evyn Dinn and two from Ben Kishchuk would be all Intersport needed to beat Boston Pizza. An own goal, and singles from Cooper Fraser and Karen Smallwood put the game out of reach. Karen Smallwood was MVP.

Sahcho Jack had a hat trick in the loss, while Tony Kim and Kierra Smeeton also scored. Maris Brandt won MVP honours.

Locksmith Services 6, Robert Service Campground 0

Locksmith got goals from MVP Andreas Lavanderos (3), Abby Rich, Cassidy Cairns and Chad Williams in a shutout win.

MVP Ethan Davy played a strong game in the loss.

The Soccer Shoppe 5, Coates Services Yukon Ltd. 3

Carter Claggett and Wyatt Sheardown-Waugh each scored twice, and Kaelen Lewis added a goal in a 5-3 win. Erica MacDonald was MVP.

MVP Hannah Jacobs scored twice in the loss, while Joseph Coyne added one.

The Eagles 11, Medicine Chest 2

Ben Shier and Jason Sealy had hat tricks, Austin Au and Mackenzie Cameron each had a pair, and Hunter Sandluck rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.

Antonio Legault was MVP.

Andrew Roberts and Lowell Decook replied for Medicine Chest, while Darian MacQuarrie was MVP.

The U-11 league was also in action Thursday, Oct. 25.

Intersport 4, Robert Service Campground 3

MVP Jacob Finton scored a hat trick and Evan Dinn netted a necessary goal as Intersport won 4-3.

Rhyse Faragher scored twice and assisted on Charlotte Van Randen's goal in the loss. Jadon Leenders was team MVP.

Locksmith Services 4, The Soccer Shoppe 2

Cassidy Cairns, Abed Rajab, Aaron Rich and MVP Abby Rich each dented the twine in a Locksmith win.

Carter Claggett and Julia MacDonald replied for The Soccer Shoppe, while Kaelen Lewis took MVP honours.

The Eagles 8, Coates Services Yukon Ltd. 1

Ben Shier netted five, MVP Rosa de Repentigny two, and Mackenzie Cameron one in an Eagles blowout.

Chai McDiarmid replied in the loss, while Liah Ott took home team MVP honours.

In Under-7 action Monday:

Whitehorse Elks 5, Mic Mac Toyota 2

Luke Cozens scored all five goals, and Gabbie Hassard was MVP for the Whitehorse Elks in a 5-2 win.

Lain Kearns and Ben Bonilla scored for Mic Mac Toyota, and Jordan Minifie won team MVP honours.

ERS 6, EDI 1

Bryn Studney-Amos struck four times for ERS, and Daniel Phillip-Friedman and Jaxon Turtrees each scored once in a 6-1 win. Brayden Wilneff won MVP.

Mason Stielin replied for EDI, while Brooke Tobler was MVP.

Sun Dog Retreat 8, ORC Tree Services 6

Kevin Liu scored five goals and Jackson Ullrich added a hat trick to provide all of Sun Dog Retreat's offence. Robyn Mueller was MVP.

Chayce Tuton and Cameron Lindstrom both scored hat tricks in a losing effort.

Ryan O'Farrell was MVP.

In Whitehorse Rapids Over-35 action Saturday morning:

Yukon Brewing 9, Klondike 5

Yukon Brewing improved to a league-best 3-0 with their win.

Victor Lavenderos scored five, Guliano Rayo added a pair, and Gord Puddister and Bruno Bourdache each scored once in the win. Rayo and Lavenderos are now tied with the league lead in goals with six.

Jeremy Raymond scored twice for Klondike in the loss, while John MacPhail and Andy Todd scored once each. An own goal by Yukon Brewing rounded out the scoring.

Pine Plumbing 8, Quest 2

Paul Inglis scored a hat trick, Bill Whitty a pair, and Chris Donohoe, Gary Mackellar and Scott Wood had singles for Pine Plumbing.

David Troup and Simo Pulido replied for Quest.

Assante 4, Pepsi 3

A Pepsi own-goal proved the difference in a 4-3 Assante win.

David Rayo, Doug Hitch and Justin Carre scored for Assante, and Adil Khalik, Chay Delorey and Mark O'Brian replied for Pepsi.
