ICE QUEENS 鈥� Four Yukon figure skaters competed at the 2014 B.C. Coast Region Championships Winter Skate in Chilliwack Feb. 7 to 9. Rachel Pettitt, age 14, finished first overall in the Novice Women category. Nine-yearolds Jamie Nickel, Alissa Russell (pictured above) and Bronwyn Hays competed in Pre-Introductory Interpretive. Nickel placed first, Russell was second, and Hays finished ranked fifth.
