Jackson's efforts in goal were for naught as his club fell 3-2 to Assante on goals by David Rayo (2) and Carre. Jim Connell and Simo Pulido scored in the loss. In other games: Klondike beat Pepsi 5-3 on goals by Doug Hnatiuk (2), Brian Fidler, Chris Stacey and Jeremy Raymond. Brad Martin, Derric Lewis and Phil Jackson replied in the loss. Yukon Brew beat Pine Plumbing 2-1, powered by a pair of goals from Guliano Rayo. Chris Donohoe scored in the loss.

Kim nets five goals in U-11 soccer win

Tony Kim scored five goals and Sahcho Jack added a hat trick as Boston Pizza beat Robert Service Campground 11-2 in Under-11 soccer action.

Tony Kim scored five goals and Sahcho Jack added a hat trick as Boston Pizza beat Robert Service Campground 11-2 in Under-11 soccer action.

The Whitehorse Minor Soccer season kicked off Thursday at the Canada Games Centre.

Sahil Kumar (2) and Kierra Smeeton also scored in the win.

Rhys Farragher scored twice in the loss.

Locksmith Services 6, Loomis Express 1

Chad Williams' pair of goals led the way as Locksmith Services downed Loomis Express.

Abby Rich, Abed Rajab, Andreas Lavanderos and Cassidy Cairns rounded out the scoring for the winning side, while Ashton Bryant replied in the loss.

Medicine Chest 6, Coates Services Yukon Ltd. 5

Andrew Roberts netted four goals in a winning effort for Medicine Chest. Mick Davidson and Maya Cairns-Locke added scores in the win.

Joseph Coyne scored twice in the loss, while Hannah Jacobs, Chai McDiarmid and Leia Ott rounded out the scoring for Coates Services.

Intersport 6, The Eagles 5

Ben Kinshuk's four-goal explosion pushed Intersport to their first win over The Eagles.

Evyn Dinn and Jacob Finton each added markers in the win, while Ben Shier (2), Jason Sealy (2) and an Intersport own goal made up The Eagles' tallies.

The Soccer Shoppe 1, Pelly Construction 0

Kaelen Lewis was credited with the lone goal in a 1-0 Soccer Shoppe win.
