Knutson's five points fuel Molars' 7-2 win

Mike Knutson scored twice and added three assists as the Klondyke Dental Molars upset second-ranked Yukon Inn 7-2 in oldtimer hockey action Sunday night.

Mike Knutson scored twice and added three assists as the Klondyke Dental Molars upset second-ranked Yukon Inn 7-2 in oldtimer hockey action Sunday night.

Marcel Barrault also scored twice, while Mike Gau, Jeff Jensen and Daniel Janke had singles in the win.

Chris Simon and Ed van Randen replied for Yukon Inn in the loss.

In other action, Matt Willes scored twice as EDI defeated Kilrich 5-3.

Pat Tobler, Jared Barrault and Guy Morgan also scored for EDI, with Colin Nash, Clint Ireland and John Periera responding for Kilrich.

The Firth Rangers dominated Tim Hortons by a score of 9-2.

Brent Stokes sniped a hat trick, while Tom Ullyett and Charles Brodhagen each scored twice.

Joel Witten and Guy Gorrell rounded out the scoring for the Rangers, while Lawrence Crayford and Peter Johnson scored for Tim Hortons in the loss.

Medicine Chest erased an early deficit to beat the Air North Jets 6-4.

Sean Kinsella and Blaine Monahan each scored twice, with Rick Seaman and Ron Limoges rounding out the scoring.

Kerry Pettitt, Morley Lessard, Mike Jim and Dave White replied for Air North. The league-best AON鈥團lames were not in action.
