Minor soccer back on the indoor pitch

The second half of Whitehorse Minor Soccer's indoor season is well underway

The second half of Whitehorse Minor Soccer's indoor season is well underway with games being held at the Canada Games Centre.

In Under-7 soccer last week, Builders Supplyland edged Kilrich Industries 4-3 thanks to a hat trick performance by Guillermo Benjamin Bonilla.

Jack Nixon also scored in the win, while Pier Emmanuel De Leon was named player of the game. Cooper MacDonald netted a pair in the loss, with Rue Charchun rounding out the scoring. Dominick Watt was player of the game.

In other action, a goal by Seth Harries was all The Electrical Shop would need to defeat Dermal Skin and Laser Centre 1-0. Harries and Tristan Martin won player of the game honours for their respective teams.

Meanwhile, in Under-11 action, Yukon Outfitters Association hammered the Whitehorse Star 11-0 courtesy of goals by Ben Kishchuk (3), Sophie Burgis (3), Liam Russell (2), William Heubschwerlen (2), and Seth Bennett.

Kischuk and Zeke Dukart were players of the game.

Not to be outdone, Thomas Bakica sniped a hat trick and Ashton Bryant had a pair of goals as La Bicicletta B&B downed the Wolverines 5-3.

The Soccer Shoppe also beat Northern Lights 5-3.
