NHL tickets go on sale Saturday

Ticket details have been released regarding the NHL charity game scheduled for Whitehorse Nov. 21.
The game, featuring many active NHL players from a variety of teams, will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Takhini Arena.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with non-perishable food donations being accepted at the door.
Tickets have been priced at $50, with a four ticket maximum.
They can be purchased Saturday and Sunday at Sport Yukon, 4061 4th Ave. in Whitehorse. Sport Yukon is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Only cash will be accepted.
Two hundred tickets will be held for Yukoners outside of Whitehorse and can be purchased by calling 867-393-4698 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. Only credit card will be accepted.
Proceeds of the contest will be distributed to the Whitehorse Food Bank, Kids Recreation Fund, and First Assist initiative which helps fund programs for First Nation children in Ontario.
"To host these NHL players while giving back to our community and investing in minor hockey at the same time is exactly in line with Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association's objectives,鈥 said WMHA president Carl Burgess.
