The RCMP鈥坵as investigating an incident that occurred in the third period of a game between the Great Canadian Dollar Store and the Peewee A Mustangs last Tuesday at Takhini Arena.
A penalized bantam player and an adult in the timekeeper box became involved in a skirmish that resulted in a call being made to police.
WMHA鈥坧resident Carl Burgess said the league continues to look into the matter from their end.
"We have a discipline process that is still ongoing,鈥� he said. "The discipline process needs to be used very infrequently, but we have zero tolerance for abuse and we've got to go through our process.鈥�
