ON TO NATIONALS – The Northern Novas competitive synchronized swimming team of Jamie Duke, top, and Katelyn Vowk competed in the Wildrose Classic in Lethbridge, Alta. last weekend. The duo placed fourth, missing out on a bronze medal by 1.1 points. Duke and Vowk have qualified for the nationals and will compete in the Canadian Open in Saskatoon, Sask. April 30 to May 4. The two continue to work towards their goal of competing at next year's Canada Winter Games in Prince George, B.C.
