Twenty-year-old swimmer Bronwyn Pasloski set a new school record in the 200-m breaststroke at the U.S. Open last week.
Twenty-year-old swimmer Bronwyn Pasloski set a new school record in the 200-m breaststroke at the U.S. Open last week.
The Indiana Hoosiers senior broke the previous best time twice, swimming a preliminary time of 2:32.48 then a 2:30.98 in the B final to finish 10th overall.
The swim team captain nearly set a second school record in the 100-m breaststroke, swimming a 1:09.36 in the preliminaries 鈥 good for the second-fastest time in Indiana history. Her A final swim was slightly slower, but she still placed seventh overall.
The Hoosiers women's swim team finished fourth overall at the Open, held in Irvine, Calif.
"All in all, it was a great meet to wrap up the season,鈥 Pasloski told the Star.
Pasloski is the youngest daughter of Premier Darrell Pasloski.
