It was quite a weekend at the Polarettes Gymnastics Club.

Local gymnasts put their skills to the test Saturday, going up against their competitors from Juneau at the Yukon Championships.
The young athletes competed in four events – vault, bars, beam and floor. In total, 22 Alaskans went up against 21 Yukon gymnasts.
The top Yukon performances came from Maude Molgat (Level 1), Aryanna Lavanderos (Level 1), Bianca Berko-Malvasio (Level 2), Robyn Poulter (Level 2), Emily King (Level 3) and Anisa Albisser (Level 4).
Juneau's Ruchi Haight (Level 1), Sage Walker (Level 2), Molly Brocious (Level 2), and Sydney Strong (Level 3) also turned in strong performances in Whitehorse.
