Pre-season meeting planned for ski hill

The Friends of Mount Sima Society鈥檚 will host its annual general meeting Oct. 8 at the ski hill, the group鈥檚 board of directors announced this week.
The meeting will be held at the Last Run鈥圠ounge at Mount Sima, beginning at 7 p.m.
鈥淲e had a great winter last year and we need your continued support,鈥� board president Laurie Henderson said in a press release.
鈥淐ome and get an update on the 2014 season and learn about current board activities for the upcoming 2015 season.鈥�
The lounge will be open during the upcoming meeting, which is expected to last about an hour and a half. Henderson said the forum will provide a good opportunity for questions and feedback.
She also said residents with interest in board or volunteer positions are welcome.
Mount Sima is located south of downtown Whitehorse, off the Alaska Highway.
