League scoring leader Krystal McKenna had a hat trick in Red Dragon's final game of 2012, as they downed the Gold Diggers 5-3 Tuesday night. Her totals are now 19 goals and six assists in 14 games.
Third-leading scorer Danielle Hodgson also scored in the win, pushing her first half totals to 12 goals, eight assists in 13 games. Shannon Stotyn rounded out the scoring.
Haley Tomlin netted a pair for the Gold Diggers, and Cheri Malo added a score in the loss.
Green Beasts 4, Blue Rodeo 3
In last night's action, the Green Beasts edged Blue Rodeo 4-3 to reclaim second place.
The Beasts take a 10-4-4 record into the break, one point better than Blue Rodeo's 10-5-3.
The league's second-leading scorer Laura Grieve scored twice and added two assists to boost her totals to 16 goals and five assists on the season.
Substitute Haley Tomlin added a goal and assist in the win, while Amy Vander Wier chipped in her second goal of the year.
Both Stephanie Hedley and Cat Jamnicky had a goal and an assist in the loss. Stephanie Hammond rounded out the scoring.
Black Ice 6, Gold Diggers 2
Substitutes Danielle Hodgson and Laura Grieve put on a show for Black Ice,
combining for six points in a 6-2 win.
Danielle Hodgson had a hat trick and Laura Grieve added two goals and an assist.
Frederique Janvier-Crete rounded out the scoring for Black Ice, while Kirsti Muller had three assists.
Gold Diggers substitute Joelle Hodgins scored both goals in the loss.

Substitute Joelle Hodgins scored a pair of goals, and fellow sub Laura Grieve picked up two assists as Black Ice shut out White Snake Sunday afternoon.
Veronique Theriault and Cheryl Rivest rounded out the scoring.

Nicole Petersen added a goal and an assist, while Danielle Hodgson and Stacie Zaychuk also found the back of the net.
Laura Grieve netted the only goal for Green, her 14th of the year.

White Snake's offence came alive as they tied the league's second place team 3-3 Saturday.
Isabel Lindemann led the way with a goal and an assist, and Stacie Zaychuk and Christina Lawrence both added goals.
Coralie Ullyett, Emma Ullyett and Stephanie Hedley scored for Blue.
