A group of nine competitive freestyle skiers and snowboarders held their annual 鈥楤ig Air Shoot' at Mount Sima last weekend.

The group completed a host of tricks while being filmed by Hardly Worth Watching Productions.

The day's events were compiled into a video, which has been posted online at http://vimeo.com/64614458.

"It's the end of the year shoot,鈥 said local snowboarder Adam Waddington. "There's no more riding until the summer, so you might as well throw down your biggest tricks.鈥

In order to hold the event, the group raised funds in the community and built a jump at Mount Sima.

Waddington said Sam N Andy's, Yukon Honda and Quiznos all stepped up in a big way to make the event possible.

He also thanked Austin Davignon, the ski hill's groomer, for his help in preparing the hill and jump for the event.

Waddington will join Max Melvin-McNutt on the B.C. Provincial Freestyle Team next season.
