This morning, in the foyer at Sport Yukon, Special Olympics executive director Serge Michaud introduced the small crowd of athletes, coaches and staff to the organization鈥檚 newest partner: Urban Realty Group.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a real nice fit,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e feel really good about it.鈥
Representatives from Special Olympics Yukon and Urban Realty Group were at the press conference.
鈥淲e decided that we needed to do something to give back,鈥 said Dana Klock, a broker-owner with Urban Realty Group.
Addressing the athletes, she said,鈥淵our perseverance, your determination and enthusiasm, it can only be admired.
鈥淲e will be your biggest cheering section for sure.鈥
Special鈥圤lympics Yukon athletes will be competing at the B.C. Special Olympics Summer Games in Kamloops this July.
