This morning, in the foyer at Sport Yukon, Special Olympics executive director Serge Michaud introduced the small crowd of athletes, coaches and staff to the organization鈥檚 newest partner: Urban Realty Group.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a real nice fit,鈥� he said. 鈥淲e feel really good about it.鈥�
Representatives from Special Olympics Yukon and Urban Realty Group were at the press conference.
鈥淲e decided that we needed to do something to give back,鈥� said Dana Klock, a broker-owner with Urban Realty Group.
Addressing the athletes, she said,鈥淵our perseverance, your determination and enthusiasm, it can only be admired.
鈥淲e will be your biggest cheering section for sure.鈥�
Special鈥圤lympics Yukon athletes will be competing at the B.C. Special Olympics Summer Games in Kamloops this July.
