The Hot Hounds' summer season ended on an appropriate note – with a soak in the Takhini Hot Springs.

The last race of the season took place last Sunday on the hot springs trails, and racers were offered a soak in the pool following competition.

The usual three races took place, including the two-mile, two-dog race; one-mile, one-dog event; and a one-mile canicross race.

Cynthia Corriveau took first place in the two-dog race with a time of 6:14, beating second-place Sophie Firmenich by 30 seconds.

Adam Robinson won the canicross event with a time of 6:16, crossing the finish with three minutes to spare.

A total of 10 racers participated.

Race sponsors included the Takhini Hot Springs, Cadence Cycle,Yukon Brewing, and Lynn Cheverie.
