Once again, Whitehorse鈥檚 two-time defending A Division hockey champs have started their season where they left off.

But they鈥檙e not the only ones.
The newly-named Air North-KK鈥圱ruck Rentals squad is 4-0-0 to start the new recreational hockey season, tying them with a revamped Firth Rangers squad, also 4-0-0, for first place.
The Air North team has won the last two league titles while the Firth squad replaces Roadhouse in the 10-team division.
Air North-KK鈥圱ruck forward Evan Campbell has piled up eight goals and seven assists in three games, and leads the league with 15 points.
Gold Pan Avalanche鈥檚 Mike Arnold and Chris Vance of the KDFN-New Age Warriors both have 14 points to start the year.
Firth Rangers goalie Brian Power leads netminders with a 1.33 GAA alongside his 3-0 record.
SLFS-Murphy Built, ORC Tree Services, NGC鈥圔uilders, Whitehorse Bobcat, Yukon鈥圔rewing and the Canada Winter Games Minor Midget team are also competing in the A Division this season.
League president Kinden Kosick said some teams have dropped out while others have new sponsors.
Another change will see teams play at Takhini Arena slightly more often.
鈥淲e like that, because we鈥檙e all old and don鈥檛 like playing on the big ice at the Games Centre,鈥 he chuckled.
鈥淭hings are going well. We managed to get enough teams to make our league work for everybody,鈥 Kosick added.
In B Division action meanwhile, the brand-new Goody鈥檚 Gas team has also started off the season unbeaten at 3-0-0, and is currently tied for first with KDFN鈥檚 B Team atop the seven-team division.
Boston Pizza-Polarcom 麻豆社区Tyler Murray already has 12 goals and seven assists after just three games 鈥 good for a league-leading 19 points.
His brother, Stuart Murray, is second with 12 points in three games.
Defensively, Yukon Inn Boiler Room goalie Daryl Froese is 2-0 to start the year with a 1.50 GAA.
The CRB鈥圢ighthawks 鈥 last year鈥檚 division champs 鈥 will be looking to repeat this season, while the Trans North Helicopters and Envirolube Oilers are also competing.
