Turbos strengthen hold on third with 6-2 win over Rangers

Laurie Malo, Andy McLeod and Steve McGrath each scored a goal and an assist, while a single from Dean Hassard rounded out the scoring.
Brian Currie had two assists.
Mike Gau responded with two goals for the Rangers (13-15-6).
With the win, the Turbos improved to 17-13-4, keeping their hold on third place with three points in hand over Medicine Chest.
Air North 6, Tim Hortons 2
Ron Daub scored two goals and added an assist, and Joel Witten picked up a pair of goals as Air North flew past Tim Hortons 6-2.
Phil Rozell chipped in a goal and two assists, while Pat Campbell scored and added an assist to round out the scoring.
Glen Heinbigner had three assists in the win.
Morley Lessard and Brent Stokes replied for Tim Hortons.
The win moved Air North (15-15-4) three points up on Tim Hortons (13-16-5).
Medicine Chest 6, Kilrich 3
Marty O'Hagan scored Medicine Chest's first two goals, and his teammates did the rest as his team upset second-place Kilrich 6-3.
Mike Jim picked up a goal and an assist, Gord Peterson netted a single, and Ron Billingsley had a goal and two assists in the win.
A late goal by Tim Howell put the game on ice for Medicine Chest (15-14-5).
Mike Knutson, Brian Gudmundson and Elgin Schwantz responded for Kilrich ](19-13-2).
AON Flames 4, Klondyke Dental Molars 4
Ed Van Randen scored a hat trick and assisted on the game-tying goal in the dying seconds to preserve a 4-4 tie between the Klondyke Dental Molars (15-15-4) and the AON Flames (8-22-4).
Charles Brodhagen converted Van Randen's pass to score the Molars' fourth goal, while Greg Bull had three assists in the contest.
Adam Green scored a pair in response for the Flames, while Grant Lyon and Ken Vickerman rounded out the scoring.
Action resumes Wednesday.
