point in the season,鈥 said Gerard Garnier, head coach of Climb Yukon鈥檚 youth programs. 鈥淭hey鈥檝e been

The Yukon competitive youth team will be heading to Victoria in March before qualifying climbers take onthe field in Calgary at Westerns in April.
鈥淚t鈥檚 an exciting time to be a competitive climber in the Yukon,鈥 said Garnier.
鈥淲ith the new gym coming, soon we鈥檒l be able to train on walls that meet National Championship standards and this can only do wonders for our climbers鈥 development so that eventually we鈥檙e making noise on the national and maybe even global stage."
