Table Tennis Yukon, one of the territory's oldest sporting clubs, released its first rankings on Monday.
Mark Preston is ranked second, while brothers Abed and Hassan Rajab hold down third and fourth respectively. Arcel Siosan rounds out the top five positions.
Also making the list were Dan Shorty (6), Kenny Mak (7), Michael Breidahl (8), Greg Murdoch (9), Zainab Rajab (10) and Ulysee Girard (11).
Table tennis, referred to informally as ping-pong, is a sport played with small rackets, a hollow ball and two to four players on a hard table.
The local club is aiming to send a team to the Arctic Winter Games, scheduled to occur in Fairbanks, Alaska next March.
The club plays out of the Whitehorse Elementary School gym Sundays from 1:30 to 4 p.m., Wednesdays from 7 to 10 p.m. and Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m.
